I am Travis Campbell, and I was hooked to prepping, survival, and off grid living for as long as I can remember. As you can guess, I was not the popular kid in high school, but I was around this equipment everyday I could be.
You could wake me up in the middle of the night and expect me to talk endlessly about the coolest survival techniques and prepping gear out there. People soon started approaching me to clear their doubts on prepping and survival tips.
I just happened to be the go-to guy to reach out to when someone had trouble learning about prepping and survival techniques, you know. That is where it clicked.
I understood that my passion for knives, survival techniques, and other general prepping knowledge could help others who are confused.
Thanks to the thousands of hours that I have spent checking out different knives, survival gear, and equipment in various stores, making a quick recommendation was always easy.
However, I wanted to do something more than just helping people pick. That is where the thought behind this blog came into the frame. And I had a couple of ideas in mind too.
I could use this blog as a place where I can share the insights I have gathered about not just learning about prepping but also putting it into practice when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and Hurricane Ida in 2021 too!
We should understand that knives, fire starters, and other equipment are not toys anymore. You have to the seriousness and use of these items when you bring one of these things home.
Sometimes, it is too much so that you may get bored, but I, for one, do not want that to happen.
That is why I keep sharing the best tips and suggestions you can use while buying, using, and storing your items for prepping, survival, and even a bit of hunting.
One more thing: This is where I can find my honest peer group, if you know what I mean.
I have had friends in my life, sure. Many of them talk about hunting, fishing, shooting, and more.
However, nothing beats a platform where I can meet people of the same interest from across the globe and have a chat, right?
In case you missed that, I can still talk for hours when we are talking about the most remarkable pieces of equipment you can find in the nearest outdoor store.
So, a conversation is something I am looking for through this beautiful platform here.
